I have found out how useful it is to build personal mythology around my personal divines, since they come from me and do not have mythos. It is useful to associate them in stories in order to see how their nature interacts, and can be explained by those stories. The stories also help me to remember them, how they manifest in the world, and the things in which they are capable of. These myths are sacred and profane to me and my tradition, and because of that they help to develop other aspects of it, especially in relation to magick. Because of all of this, I feel like I have a better understanding of mythos and how useful it can be. I’m just hoping later in the future that no one tries to use literalism on it, because it would provide no use in such a literal matter.
